RAWALPINDI: Police arrested 255 suspects during a search operation within the limits of New Town Police Station, out of which eight accused were shifted to Adiala Jail.

According to the police sources, eight accused were shifted to Adiala Jail on prominent evidences charged against them, however, others were released after interrogation.

It is pertinent to know that these search operations are being conducted on daily basis in Karachi and Rawalpindi to eliminate terrorism within the country.
