ISLAMABAD: Former President General (retd) Pervez Musharraf legally registered his request to leave for America for his medical treatment for which his lawyer has requested for the removal of his name from Exit Control List (ECL) today in special court.

Prosecutor Akram Sheikh said that Musharraf's medical report is unprofessional. The court had asked for Musharraf's ECG medical report, which has not been submitted yet. He further mentioned, "We are ready to facilitate Musharraf by providing him with any doctor he wants for his medical treatment, here."

Regarding Musharraf's request to travel abroad for medical treatment, he said, "If Musharraf is unable to attend the court for 15 minutes, how will he be able to travel for 18 hours!"
