KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed lower on Tuesday having 26653.73 shares with a negative change of 16.87 and volume of 163,814,620 shares.

High and Low were 26796.22 and 26635.36 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 303,326,610 shares with 415 total traded companies out of which 233 were up, 167 were down and 15 were unchanged.

Personal Goods (Textile) was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 75,197,320 shares. It was followed by Financial Services with a total traded volume of 42,612,000 shares.

The three top traded companies were Azgard Nine with a volume of 48,428,500 and price per share of 9.83 (0.68), Jah.Sidd. Co. with a volume 22,474,000 of price per share of 12.53 (1.00), JS Investments with a volume 14,059,500 of price per share of 13.55 (0.15).

The top three advancers were Nestle Pak. with price per share 11989.00 (570.75), Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share of 4669.56 (103.06) and Island Textile share of 1564.92 (74.52).

The top three decliners were Unilever Foods with price per share of 9040.50 (-149.50), Rafhan Maize with price per share of 7372.00 (-133.00) and MithchellsFruitXDXB per share of 853.60 (-44.73).
