Karachi: Six policemen killed while 50 suspects were arrested by Rangers
KARACHI: Six more people were killed by the terrorists while the Rangers arrested 50 doubtful suspects during raids on Sunday in Karachi, Aaj News reported.
Six policemen lost their lives in a hand grenade attack in Landhi on Saturday. After this incident, the police personnel and Rangers conducted a raid and arrested 50 alleged suspects.
Over 500 Rangers men took part in Quid-e-Abad search operation and captured one dozen suspects from which two belonged to militant group.
On the other hand, 32 suspects were arrested from Landi and 8 suspects who belonged to extremists group were captured from Surjani Town. Four persons were gunned down in Lyari, Orangi Town, Site Area, and Baldia Town while two tortured bodies were recovered near Northern By-pass from Malir River.
