SC gives three months time to OGRA to review 221 CNG stations
ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Thursday gave three months time to Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) to review the 221 CNG stations licenses whom licenses were issued during the PPP-led government tenure.
A three-member bench headed by Justice Jawad S. Khawaja heard the case regarding issuing of illegal licenses to 250 CNG stations.
At the outset of hearing, counsel for OGRA Iftikhar Gillani informed the bench that court should gave more time to OGRA to review the CNG stations licenses. He said that files of theses CNG stations were in the custody of Federal Investigation Agency and OGRA needs three months time to prepare the detailed report.
The Court accepted Iftikhar Gillani's plea and awarded three months time to OGRA and directed FIA to support OGRA and adjourned the hearing.
