Free nutrition camp held to highlight healthy choices
LAHORE: A nutrition camp was held at Fatima Memorial Hospital to create awareness for healthy eating practices, besides guidance for the right kind of diet required for patients suffering
from various ailments.
Nutrition Camp was jointly held by the School of Nutrition, NGO, Fatima Memorial Hospital and Jahanara Memorial Trust.
Doctors and experts at the free camp gave advice to general public and patients of blood pressure, diabetes, heart disorders, cholesterol, constipation, depression, obesity, TB, food allergies, depression, cancer, liver & renal diseases, gynecological issues etc.
More such events have been planned by Lahore the School of Nutrition in order to spread awareness for making informed choices on nutrition for health & healthy lifestyle, said a press release.
The nutrition camp was led by Dr Haroon Ihsan-Vice Chairman, Executive Committee, Fatima Memorial System, Zareen Arif Ijaz Chairman, Jahanara Trust, Shazia Zahra-Clinical Nutritionist, Saira Khalid Shereen Khan, Maria Sadique, Samreen Sadaf, Anam Akmal and Aneela Kanwal.
