Musharraf: Treason Trail case resumed in court

ISLAMABAD: The court resumed Musharraf Treason trail case on Thursday.

A three-member-bench led by Justice Faisal Arab is hearing the case. Anwar Mansoor, while giving the claims said that the positioning of the judges were appointed by grade-21 officer. Secretary law do not possess any authority to put charge against them.

He said in his statement that both rules and constitution conflict with each other but constitution has a greater authority.

Prosecutor Akram Sheikh claimed that all the cases which comes under Federal Government are reported to Ministry of Law.

Anwar Mansoor in his statement said that according to Article 6, Federal Government holds the authority to put charges regarding this case.

On the other side, Supreme Court has advised government to take charge of this case.
