Pakistan International Airlines on Wednesday launched in-flight SMS and call services for the passengers travelling a long route.

According to PIA spokesperson Mashoor Tajwar, this service could be availed by paying a nominal amount of fee through credit card.

It is pertinent to know that PIA offers Wi-fi services within the flight for their passengers. PIA in their future recommendations will start in-flight email services as well.

This particular facility of access to in-flight SMS and phone calls will be given to Boeings-777's, whose routes are scheduled towards US, Canada or Europe.
