Karachi Stock Exchange closes lower
KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed lower on Wednesday having 27015.12 shares with a negative change of 89.58 and volume of 383,011,570 shares.
High and Low were 27213.21 and 26948.78 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 383,011,570 shares with 425 total traded companies out of which 265 were up, 143 were down and 17 were unchanged.
Commercial Banks was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 98,779,700 shares. It was followed by Construction and Materials (Cement) with a total traded volume of 53,878,100 shares.
The three top traded companies were Faysal Bank with a volume of 29,452,000 and price per share of 13.40 (1.00), P.T.C.L.A with a volume 24,609,000 of price per share of 30.25 (0.86), P.I.A.C.(A) with a volume 17,821,000 of price per share of 9.85 (0.12).
The top three advancers were Nestle Pak. with price per share 10332.97 (468.54), Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share of 5190.48 (229.48) and Bata (Pak) share of 3495.00 (141.63).
The top three decliners were Siemens PakistanXD with price per share of 1420.47 (-71.50), Pak Tobacco with price per share of 676.65 (-31.16) and Attock Petroleum per share of 508.65 (-16.45).
