25 terrorists killed in North Waziristan's air blitz: Security official
PESHAWAR: At least 25 terrorists have been killed as the jets pounded the militants' positions in North Waziristan Agency, security official said.
The security forces on receiving confirmed intelligence reports about presence of militants conducted aerial strikes last night and targeted the hideouts of militants in North Waziristan Agency, killing 25 terrorists and injuring many others.
The official said the terrorists killed in strikes were associated with the blasts at Peshawar Church, Qissa Khwani bazaar and Bannu.
Meanwhile, Chief of Army Staff, Gen Raheel Sharif air dashed to Bannu CMH and inquired after the health of the Bannu Garrison attack.
