LAHORE: Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country including provincial capital in the next 24 hours. According to local Met Office, there is some chance of light rain at isolated places in Gujranwala, Lahore and Sargodha divisions during Tuesday/Wednesday.

The weather remained dry and cold in most parts of the country during last 24 hours. Some of the coldest places of the country were: Skardu, Astore -11C, Parachinar -08C, Gupis, Hunza -07C, Kalam -05C, Kalat, Gilgit -04C, Rawalakot -03C, Drosh - 02C, Murree, Quetta -01C.

In the metropolis minimum temperature was recorded 5 degree centigrade on Monday while maximum was 19 degree celsius.
