Cook wins toss, elects to bat in 2nd ODI
BRISBANE: England captain Alastair Cook won the toss and elected to bat Friday in the second one-day game against Australia at the Gabba ground.
Ashes Man-Of-The-Series Mitchell Johnson returns to the Australia lineup at the expense of spinner Xavier Doherty and will look to continue his intimidation of the England batsman.
Allrounder Shane Watson has been rested and is replaced at No. 3 in the batting lineup by Shaun Marsh.
England has retained the same team that lost the first one-dayer by six wickets in Melbourne last Sunday.
Australia will attempt to win its seventh straight match this tour on a dry, grassless Gabba pitch that looks suited to the batsmen.
