LAHORE: Dense fog since three days is covering Lahore and its surrounding areas. Due to such heavy fog, air traffic has been suspended at Allama Iqbal Airport.

"Motorway traffic has also been suspended. The motorway has been blocked for few days for travelling from Lahore to Pindi because of zero visibility", said the spokesman of motorway.

Further giving details about the motorway, he said that the traffic has been shifted to an alternate route to G.T. road. Travelers who are taking this route or any alternate route should carry fog lights to avoid any mishap to occur.

The flights which were due to land at Lahore are now diverted to other cities because of zero visibility issue.
