KARACHI:Long-awaited elections of Karachi City Cricket Association (KCCA) will be held at National Stadium on January 16, Elections Commissioner Muhammad Siddique announced on Monday.

27 elected office-bearers of seven zones of KCCA will cast
their votes for the post of President, Secretary and Treasurer.

Elected office bears including Presidents, Secretaries and
Treasurers of the seven zones will be eligible take part in the pools.

Nadeem Omar Group included Nadeem Omar (President), Muhammad
Ishaq (Secretary) and Shah Shafiuddin (Treasure) while Prof. Ejaz
Ahmed Faruqi (President), Shafiq Kazmi (Secretary) and Musheer Rabbani (Treasure) are candidates for Prof. Faruqi group.

Prof. Farqui was also elected the President of Art Council of Pakistan in the elections held last week.
