Women are more in grip of Social Media than Men

In today's world females do not bother thinking much about their friends, spouses or family as the most part of females fascination are dedicated to social media and they can't live without it.

A new study shows that women are struggling for this `addiction' and the ratio in females is two fold than in men.

The woman who uses internet for her own pleasure and thought she would have missed if the internet is not there. She spent major portion of time in checking friends' Twitter and Facebook status.

This research had been done in Britain Research which shows the Britain's internet behavior. It has found that 5.6 million Britain people use web for amusement.  An overwhelming 45 per cent of people saying they keep a hold with social media more than some extra online content.

Only seven per cent of men felt the same, with a nearly third claiming online work such as banking was their biggest concern.

According to the BT's survey report, more women play online games on daily basis. This ratio seems to be less in men than woman.

Only 10 per cent women are using the Internet for news and current affairs.

The foremost way for women are when they get ready to online shopping with 38 per cent buying online regularly as compared to just 30 per cent of men.

People now take for granted that they can manage their life all in one place, from shopping and banking to entertainment and social media."

He added: "That's why BT is investing in super fast broadband; so our customers can juggle all of their Internet needs using BT Infinity which is eight times faster than the UK average."

Almost 23 per cent of people are characterized as Home Hubs; the person with the main household tasks.

At the rise of social media's attractiveness, a simple 7 per cent are Life Loggers; those who keep a record of blogging on regular basis. APP
