Police said the incident took place in Faisalabad’s Bilal Town where a girl, said to be 15 year old, whipped out a pistol and opened fire on her father after altercation with him. They said the girl liked a boy and wanted to marry him but his father disliked the boy.

The man died on the spot. His body was shifted to the hospital for autopsy, a police officer said.

The police said that the girl's boyfriend brought her the pistol; which she later used to kill her father. Though the identities of the boy and girl are still unknown, police have arrested them. (agency)
