RAWALPINDI: A man was arrested for intruding Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif's plane on Friday.

According to Airport Security Force (ASF) spokesman, a man pushed an ASF security official, posted at the Royal Lounge of Benazir International Airport, and forcibly entered the area. The man started running towards the airport ramp.

The man ran into a government airplane standing at the apron when the ASF officials were trying to catch him. According to sources, the plane was the official aircraft of CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif.

ASF officials have apprehended the man and have held him for questioning.
