Shahi Syed dumps PM Ashraf's meeting call
KARACHI: Awami National Party (ANP) Sindh Chairman, Shahi Syed, turned down the call to meet newly elected Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf in Karachi.
Such remarks were passed by the ANP leader on Monday when the PM excused from visiting ANP's Karachi headquarter, Mardan House. The ANP Senator turned down the meeting call in order to protest against the PM's excuse.
Shahi Syed was called upon in the Governor House on Monday in order to meet the PM but Shahi Syed did not oblige the call.
The ANP leader had earlier urged the PPP to treat ANP like they treat MQM. The ANP Senator was really unhappy over this issue and stated that PPP leader should visit Mardan House the same way they visit MQM's Nine Zero; as ANP had always supported PPP unconditionally and such treatment may be deemed discriminatory.
