PESHAWAR: Budget of Rs.303 for the fiscal year 2012-13 presented in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly on Friday.

The provincial Finance Minster Engineer Hummayun Khan announced the budget.

The provincial budget has allocated 3725 million rupees for 31 different security related programmes.

For 66 different higher education programmes 5046 million rupees have been allocated.

Four hundred and sixty five million rupees haven allocated for 66 different law and order related programmes. 70percent focus remained on the Developmental projects.

Five hundred million rupees have been allocated for the Benazir income support programme (BISP).

Seven and a half billion rupees have been allocated for the health sector.
