ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court postponed the Suo moto case of Kohistan video Scandal of five girls who were allegedly ordered to kill on singing and dancing together at a wedding party and is likely to resume it at 6pm, Aaj news reported.

Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry had ordered the chief secretary K-P to bring the girls to the court in a helicopter.

So, a 10-members committee comprising of Administration, Social workers and police officers has left for Kohistan to bring those girls in the court.

Earlier, during the case proceeding, Home Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa informed the court that the five girls who had allegedly been killed were alive whereas the Muhammad Afzal, the brother of Yasir and Nazar had said that the girls were “slaughtered” on the eve of May 30, 2012.

Afzal had said that if required, he was ready to swear by the Quran “a thousand times over.”

Attorney General Irfan Qadir said that , following the tribal norms girls can't appear in the court. On which CJ remarked that "the court knows all the traditions and norms and girls will be brought in with complete respect.

During the hearing, officials from Kohistan’s dictrict administration had appeared before the court, including the chief secretary K-P, Deputy Inspector General of Police Hazara, Commissioner Hazara Khalid Umarzai.

They had informed the court that they had failed to get in contact with the girls despite several attempts, however, they said that the girls were alive.
