KARACHI: A person was killed and 1o other injured in a hand grenade attack near Central Jail Karachi early Saturday morning.

Sources said that, Some unidentified assailant threw a hand grenade and did firing at a shop located at Jamshed Road that injured 11 people initially out of which one man later succumbed to his injuries in Civil Hospital.

Police later cordoned off the area and injured were shifted to the hospital for treatment.

In a statement, MQM Chief Altaf Hussain condemned the attack and demanded a fair investigation into the incident.
