ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari on Friday took notice of the incident of firing on a coach in Benazirabad (formerly Nawabshah) that resulted in the loss of lives.

The President while strongly condemning the brutal act of firing on a passenger bus, called for a report into this incident.

He directed to bring culprits to justice. The President expressed his grief and sympathies with the bereaved families and prayed for the departed souls. Over five people were killed and 35 injured when unknown assailants opened fire on a passenger bus near Qazi Ahmed area of Benazirabad on Friday.

The passenger bus with nearly 50 people on board, was on its way from Karachi to Kohat.
