Sargodha: 25 TB patients turn critical due to expired injection
SARGODHA: Over 25 patients suffering from Tuberculosis (TB) turned critical after given some expired injections in a government hospital of Sargodha, Aaj News reported.
The patients were unable to breath after taken the injection subsequently the doctors stopped the dose.
According to the sources, the Medicine purchasing Committee of the hospital bought those unreliable injections from the local market.
On questioning, Hospital MS Sherdil Khan said that the purchasing was done before his appointment in the hospital and he is not responsible for the case while he avoided any further comments.
Nobody took the notice of the matter uptill now.
