NATO supply routes to be opened after consultation: Gilani
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani Thursday said the NATO has sent an “unconditional†invitation to the President to attend the Chicago summit and supply routes will be opened after talks of various ministries conclude.
Talking to reporters after attending a telecommunication event, Gilani said the final decision to open what the government calls the “Ground Lines of Communication†for the NATO supplies for troops in Afghanistan would depend on the outcome of ongoing talks between different ministries and organisations.
“We have directed the concerned departments to conclude the process,†Gilani said. (APP)
