NOWSHERA: Late Politician Ajmal Khatak’s mausoleum severed a major blast late on Wednesday. The mausoleum is situated in the area of Akora Khattak.

A huge explosion was heard within the area. Sources have reported that as per the explosion, a large quantity of explosive material must have been used for the blast.

The offenders have been reported to plant the explosive material within the area and then escape swiftly.

Police officials have stated that they are reaching the area and a proper statement would only be given after reaching and investigating the concerned spot.

Ajmal Khattak was a Pakistani politician, writer, Pashtun poet, renowned social worker, former President of Awami National Party and close friend of the late Khan Wali Khan.
