Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) have kick-started their protest rally to remove the PM from office, in Gujranwala today, on Sunday.

Political temperatures rise as PTI takes out rallies in support of the Supreme Court Verdict and Chief Justice Ifitikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, in Islamabad.

Earlier, Pakistan Muslim Legue-N (PML-N) commenced their protest movement against government with a public gathering in Taxila on Saturday evening.

Leader of the opposition, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, started the proceedings with his speech stating that Nawaz has urged all pariotic parties and individuals  to come forward and be a part of the protest.

With regards to Imran Khan, Nisar stated, "Imran was a veteran and good cricketer but is an amateur politician. The country should wary of amateur leaders."

Nawaz followed Nisar's speech; welcomed by the crowd with huge roars and rumbles.

Nawaz was quick to talking about the current government especially President Zardari.

“We accepted the result of the elections and supported Zardari’s government though he did not comply with the agreement formed between me (Nawaz) and Benazir. We realized soon enough that all the promises made by Zardari were hollow,” Nawaz said.

“The government is completing its 5 year tenure, ask them (government) as to what have they done for Pakistan,” Nawaz stated while addressing the public gather at Taxila.

Quoting his achievements, Nawaz pointed out towards the construction of Islamabad-Lahore motorway and the testing of nuclear technology, further asking Zardari for his contributions for the country.

With respect to Swiss accounts, Nawaz stated that billions of dollars were lying within Swiss accounts, further stating that the money belonged to the people of Pakistan and it should be returned. Nawaz uttered that he would ensure that the money gets back to Pakistan and is spent on its rightful owners i.e. the people of Pakistan.

Talking about the Law and order condition within Pakistan, Nawaz stated, “The country is in an intense situation”, further pointing towards the violence in Lyari, Balcohistan, Gilgit and elsewhere in Pakistan.

“This is not a war for power, this is a war to end corruption, a war to save judiciary and a war to save the sovereignty of Pakistan” Nawaz roared.

Nawaz asked the public gathering for their support against the government and the crowd was seen supporting his request for long marches and countrywide protests against the current regime.
