Gilani does not have the courage to face opposition: Nisar

Leader of the opposition, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, stated that the Prime Minister did not have the courage to enter the National Assembly. “You do not have the courage to face the opposition, then why are you holding on to the premiership which is not yours,” Nisar added.

Earlier, PML-N member created a rumpus within the National Assembly by chanting “Go Gilani Go” slogans. The drama created within the National Assembly was so strident that the speaker was unable to bring normalcy within the Assembly.

The PML-N members were so fierce in their protest that they tore the agenda as well.

Federal Law Minister, Farooq Naek, was later seen condemning PML-N’s protest stating that it was against the rules. He further added that PM Gilani was still a member the Prime Minister and hence a member of the National Assembly. He (Gilani) was not disqualified by the Court or the Election Commission.

With respect to the Hazara province, the law minister asserted that action would be taken after an agreement would be reached with all coalition partners.
