For unification; resign from Assemblies: Imran's message to PML (N)

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief, Imran Khan, has asked PML (N) to resign from all Assemblies before any talks concerning the unification of both the parties can be initiated. Imran gave this statement while talking to media representatives on Tuesday.

"Nawaz Sharif and his party has betrayed us and the entire Pakistani nation three times; hence the current situation does not allow us to believe them", Imran stated. "The amalgamation talks can only commence once the PML (N) resigns from the Punjab and the Federal government", he further added.

Talking about Yousuf Raza Gilani, Imran stated that his party does not consider Gilani to be the Prime Minister and the PPP is destroying the judiciary in the name of democracy. "Elections should be conducted by the earliest possible time", Imran said.

While talking about Rehman Malik, the PTI chief uttered that the Interior Minister was not performing his duties properly and was using the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to threaten the opposition.

Talking about the role of NAB, Imran said that, "NAB's role is not to suppress the opposition but it should be employed to eradicate corruption".

Imran stated that the current government was not respecting the Supreme Court's decision and to show his party's solidarity with the SC, Imran Khan declared a protesting march to be held on the 6th of May in Islamabad and a public gathering in Rawalpindi on the 27th of May.
