QUETTA: Baloch Leader and chairman of Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP) Shahzain Bugti surrendered himself to the official here on Saturday, Aaj news reported.

Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik and Interior Minister Balochistan Mir Zafarullah Khan Zuhri were also present there.

Before surrendering himself he talked to media for few minutes. He stated that, he was arrested in fake case and will be released soon.

Bugti surrendered along with his 26 guards with whom he had been implicated in an illegal arms possession case in Dec 2010.

Earlier on Friday, A non-bail able warrant was issued in the name of Shahzain Bugti and 26 of his guards.
