Faisalabad: 5 of a family murdered

Five people of the same family were found dead inside a house in a native village named Toba Tek Singh, near Faisalabad.

According to police officials, the murderer used a sharp-edged weapon to slain the victims.

The victims were identified as, Niaz Ahmed  Jutt, his wife Abida Niaz, 8 year old son Hamza, 4 year old daughter Zoya and about an year old Maha.

All victims were murdered by the use of a sharp and swift cutting object, while Niaz Ahmed was shot in the head, a pistol was found near his dead body.

Speculations are that Niaz Ahmed has murdered his own family and then committed suicide, but nothing could be said for sure as the police are still inquiring into this atrocity. The bodies of the victims have been sent to the hospital for a postmortem examination.

The reporting of the incident occurred when local neighbors noticed that the door was locked from the inside and no one was coming out, after which some people jumped in the house and called the police upon discovery of the dead bodies.

An infuriated traffic warden along with his accomplices opened fire at staff of Jaranwala Road Toll Plaza and injured 11 persons when they demanded toll tax (Parchi Fee) from the warden.

According to details, a traffic warden Muhammad Jameel infuriated when

the staff of toll plaza demanded toll tax from him.

He exchanged hot words with the plaza staff and introduced him as a

close relative of Station House Officer (SHO) Khuraianwala.

After some time, traffic warden came back with two other vehicles,

carrying about 15 persons wearing some to them elite force uniform and opened fire at toll plaza staff.

As a result, 11 persons including contractor of toll plaza Abdul Jabbar,

in-charge plaza Muhammad Naeem Bhatti, driver Nadeem Bhatti, cook Muhammad Amin, parchi collector Inaam Ullah, Ghazafar Abbas, Nauman, Allah Nawaz, Amjad received serious injuries and were shifted to District Headquarters (DHQ) and Allied Hospitals for treatment.

Khurarianwala police have registered a case against 15 persons vide FIR

No.230/12 under section 324, 452, 148 and 149 and started investigation APP
