GB unrest: 5 killed 40 injured in firing, grenade attack
Atleast three people were killed and 40 other injured in the firing and hand grenade attack in Gilgit Baltistan on tuesday.
Rangers were called and curfew was also imposed in the effected areas.
According to the sources, some miscreants targeted a protest rally near Gari Bagh area which killed five people and injured several others. Therefore, The violence erupted and city turned into a battleground between rival sects.
The city was already observing a strike against the killing of  Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat and later a curfew was imposed.
Police warned residents to stay inside their houses while miscreants will be shot dead at first sight.
The injured were shifted to the City hospital and district headquarter hospital but due to the strike of nurses and para medics they were not treated properly.
The transport is also halted for undefined period.
