The former MPA and member Pakistan People's Party  Aslam Madiana's plea for bail in the teacher assault case was denied by the Lahore High Court today.

Awais Madiana, who is currently an MPA and also a member of PPP, had filed a petition seeking bail for his father.

After the hearing, the court decided against the bail and ordered the police to arrest him to which Madiana fled the court premises.

Police have cordoned off the Lahore High Court premises and are looking for the assaulter.
