Missing Persons Case: Petition filed to stop ISI chief from leaving the country
A petition was filed in the Supreme Court to put the ISI Chief LT General Ahmed Shuja Pasha on an Exit Control List (ECL).
Tariq Asad, requested the court that the DG ISI who is all set to retire his position as the Chief of ISI on March 18, might leave Pakistan right after, which will create difficulty in bringing him in for questioning and revealing the facts. However, if the court orders his name to be put in an Exit Control List (ECL), it will be possible to question him.
Tariq Asad, who is the counsel for the missing persons of Balochistan Missing Person Case, filed the petition to the Apex court stating that general Pasha is behind the disappearance of many prisoners from Adiala Jail. He said that people were removed from the Jail on his orders.
The petition states that Pasha is responsible for the other people also going missing. AAJNEWS
