The leaders of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) met with Sindh Home minister Manzoor Wassan to discuss on the issue of kidnapping and extortion and take effective steps to over come the problem in Karachi.

While taking to the media after the meeting, MQM leader Farooq Sattar said that they have started taking steps to tackle with current situation and working and have started from two constituencies NA-249 and NA-252 They also called the business representatives of these localities to discuss the matter of kidnapping and extortion.

Sattar said,  “Business life has been crippled, action should be taken against people who are involved in such acts should be exposed”. He added that not only police and rangers will assist the business communities but also committees will be working to reduce the crimes to get rid of extortion and kidnappings.
