The government of Azad Jammu Kashmir has kick started legal efforts to setup a legal structure that would help convict and punish the culprits involved in acid attacks.  AajNews reported.

Sources say, that President Azad Kashmir has approved the punishment of life in prison and a fine worth Rs 1 million to be charged to the person found guilty in acid throwing incidents.

The ordinance would remain effective for three months until the legislation is passed.
