The government will launch Benazir Sehat Card under Benazir Income Support Programme by end of March to provide health insurance to poor families. Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani will be chief guest at the launching of Benazir Sehat Card, a cashless card under BISP in Faisalabad which will provide health insurance upto Rs 25,000 per family for the 90,000 poorest of the poor families consisting 550,000 individuals.Talking to Chairman BISP Farzana Raja here at PM House on Monday, the Prime Minister appreciated the scheme and said that the redressal of the health problems of the poor would be a leap forward to alleviate poverty.
