A bomb explosion killed at least six people and wounded 25 others in Nowshera on Monday.

The bomb was planted in a motor cycle. The blast occurred outside of farooq stadium in the area of cantt police station Nowshera; when a motorcycle parked exploded with a bang. As a result six people were killed and 25 others including police officials were injured.

Injured were shifted to the Lady reading Hospital Peshawar and Nowshera Klan Hospital. The blast came right after Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cheif Minister finished addressing the crowd.

The police cordoned off the area for further investigation.
