SC orders setting up of medical board in missing prisoners’ case
KARACHI: The Supreme Court of Pakistan has ordered to constitute a medical board to review the medical condition of the missing prisoners, the media reported on Monday.
Seven missing persons were presented in court today. Supreme Court Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry on February 10 ordered to produce seven detainees missing from Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi, at 3pm, according to the media.
It may be mentioned that eleven prisoners were convicted for attacking the Pakistan Army’s General Headquarters in Rawalpindiand ISI’s Hamza Camp, had gone missing from Adiala Jail.
Four of the detainees were later found dead.
