Australia on Friday beat Sri Lanka in their second Tri- Series limited-overs international match in Perth.

Angelo Mathews scored 64 and Xavier Doherty took two wickets as Sri Lanka were restricted to 226.

Earlier Australia set Sri Lanka a target of 232 to clinch the one-day international. Michael Clarke top-scored for Australia with 57 as the Australia made 231 after losing the toss. Angelo Mathews with 2-37 was Sri Lanka’s most impressive bowler.
