England were in trouble at 39-4 at tea on the fourth day of the second Test against Pakistan at Abu Dhabi Stadium here on Saturday.

Set 145 to win, England need another 106 runs in the remaining four sessions. Andrew Strauss (23) and Matt Prior (nought) were at the crease.

Pakistan lead the three-Test series 1-0.
