A bomb explosion killed at least 30 people and wounded 60 others in Jamrud bazar of Khyber Agency on Tuesday.

According to the sources, the bomb was planted in a pickup vehicle while seven other vehicles were also destroyed. The police found two more missiles from the spot.

The Zakha khail group was targeted in the blast. The injured were shifted to the HMC Hospital. Six deadbodies and 22 injured were shifted to the Hayatabad Medical complex.

The police cordoned off the area for further investigation. The Pak-afghan highway was also closed due to the blast.
