Former President Pervez Musharraf says he will return to Pakistan later this month and re-enter politics.

Musharraf’s return could add to political turbulence in an already feverish atmosphere in the country.

Musharraf told several thousand supporters in Karachi by telephone on Sunday he would return between Jan. 27 and Jan. 30.

He has been living in London and Dubai since 2008, after the government, led by Bhutto’s party, forced him to resign.
