The two day Indo-Pak talks on conventional and nuclear confidence-building measures (CBM) bagan on Monday in Islamabad.

Pakistan Foreign Affairs’ Additional Secretary, Munawwar Saeed Bhatti is leading his team in both conventional and nuclear weapons CBMs talks.

While Director General (Disarmament & International Security Affairs) Ministry of External Affairs, Mr. D. Bala Verma will be leading his country’s delegation in expert-level Tuesday talks on nuclear CBMs, while in the Monday conventional CBMs talks Joint Secretary, Yshwant Sinha is heading the Indian delegation.

According to the sources, Indian delegation will also meet Secretary Foreign affairs Salman Bashir.

Its important to note that, both the countries exchange the list of nuclear arms on January 1st of every year.
