Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz’s chief Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday met with office bearers of labour and trade unions of various government institutions saying that high interest rate  causing damage to the industries.

He emphasised that the institutions should improve in terms of delivery.

During hid three-days visit to Karachi, PML-N President also meet Pir Pagara at his residency.

Nawaz said that he has no plans to meet President Asif Ali Zardari but pray for his better health.

Nawaz Sharif on Monday meet with the estranged Baloch leader Sardar Ataullah Khan Mengal, at which the octogenarian leader enlisted the reasons behind unrest among the people of the country’s most backward province and the former prime minister gave him a firm assurance that his party would do its best to address all their grievances.
