Envoys’ conference underway in Islamabad

A conference of Pakistan’s ambassadors and high commissioners has started in Islamabad to discuss the terms of engagement with US in war against terror here on Monday.

The two-day conference will also be addressed by Prime Minister yousaf Raza Gilani. The main purpose of the conference to be held on Dec 12-13 is to focus on the situation emerged after the the NATO attacks on Pakistani posts in Mohmand Agency.

The first session of the conference begun under the head of  Minister of Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar. While Minister of Finance, Abdul Hafeez sheikh, Chairman joint chief of staff committee, Khalid Shameem Wynne and DG ISI,Ahmed Shuja Pasha are also attending the conference.

The 15 Ambassadors and High commissioners of Pakistan in America, Baitain, EU, UN, China, Germany, Iran India, Afghanistan, Turkey and others have reached Islamabad to attend the conference.

Sources told that they would be given special task of conveying Nato’s brutality to the international community along with the outcomes of the strikes on Pakistani check post in their respective countries.

The envoy's conference will deliberate on different aspects of the foreign policy and formulate the future strategy of Pakistan.
