Born on 11 Decmber, 1922, Dilip Kumar, has completed 89 glorious years of his life. The veteran actor has given Bollywood some of its biggest hits. The actor started his film career in 1944 which went on for a long run of 5 decades, with 60 films to his credit.

He was the first actor to receive a Filmfare Best Actor Award and till today he holds the record for the most number of Filmfare Awards won in that category.

Dilip Saab gave remarkable hits to the industry like romantic Andaz (1949), the swashbuckling Aan (1952), the dramatic Devdas (1955), the comical Azaad (1955), the historical Mughal-e-Azam(1960) and the social Ganga Jamuna (1961). At the age of 44, he got married to Sara Banu in 1966 and their marriage stands rock solid till date.
