Three injured in blast near Karachi University
Three persons were wounded in a blast near the Sliver Jublie gate, University of Karachi here on Saturday.
According to the reports, the bomb was remote controlled and planted near greenbelt outside the university premises.
SSP Raja Umer Khtab told Aaj news that "The Bomb was remote controlled".
The explosive device was similar to the blast in Saforagoth on Friday, he added.
DIG east, Akram Naeem also said, The blast was low intensity Improvised explosive device (IED).
The three injured were shifted to Darul Sehat hospital in Gulistan e Johar.
One of the injured, Mirza Muhammad Manaf is in critical condition.
Rangers and police cordoned off the area and began search operation.
