Sehwag smashes ODI record
Indian Cricketer Virender Sehwag on Thursday smashed one day international cricket record and became only the second batsman in the world to breach the 200-mark in ODI. The first was the Sachin Tendulkar, who scored a double ton.
Sehwag slammed 219 off 149 balls before falling to Kieron Pollard in the 47th over of the fourth ODI against West Indies. He got to the 200 in 140 balls; the first 100 came in only 69 balls. He smashed 25 fours and seven sixes and also crossed 8,000 ODI runs during the knock.
