Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain Wednesday talked to President Asif Ali Zardari  on phone to discuss current political situation in the country.

According to presidential spokesman, the contact between the two leaders was made early morning where current political situation with respect to government alliances was discussed.

President Zardari and Altaf Hussain also gave thought to Sindh situation.

The government source did not state any further information regarding the talk.
