Five people including three women were killed in two separate incidents on Sunday in Hafizabad.

First incident occurred in Mohalla Cha Qazian, when unknown assailants stabbed three persons to death in a house. Deceased were identified as Widow Khurshid bibi, her two sons Babar and Khawar.

Another incident took place in a village Chini Hinjrawan, when unknown armed men opened indiscriminate firing at a home. As a result two women were killed.
